The Lakeland Doll And Teddy Bear Fair...

Guess where I went this weekend?  To the Lakeland Doll And Teddy Bear Fair with LT and her mum and dad.  LT was really boring and stayed glued to the stall all day, but her dad was nice enough to take me round to visit a few people...

Here's LT's stall, manned by the whole Clan:

We were next door to Christopher's Chairs, so of course I had to try out a few.  Think LT's dad was trying to tell me something about my diet!

If it's good enough for Goldilocks...

We had quite a large neighbour just down the aisle from us:

I had to go and see one of Jean's Jenni Bears, as The Clan wanted an update on how M&M was doing.  It seems he's blended right in with the family.  Well, as much as a blue and red bear can blend...

I also tried to pull this little beach babe, but she wasn't interested :o(

Oooh, look, look, Elaine had a card of the bear that LT commissioned for her mum for her birthday.

I'm thinking this is the makings of some new beary shaped fur coats...

Meeting the fair mascot:

Lilac really liked this high chair, but I wasn't so impressed...

It was rather a long way down!

Hope you enjoyed my bear fair tour, we'd love to see you next time, I need more people to fawn over me and spoil me!  I did meet another Piece Parade collector though, who insisted on getting her photo taken with me, I'm a star!

Hey Jack!
You're really getting around aren't you? Be careful of those beach babes - once they've got you, you'll never be happy with anyone else. And you've got Katy! Looks like you had a great time there. Wish we could have gone just for the shopping!

~ginger and Sebastian (who insists that I write out his answers but then complains about my efforts when he runs off to have a snack and I go ahead and post what I want to say without his comments included)

Thank goodness LT's dad took you walkabout, Jack...it would have been dull as dirt to just sit there all day, cute as LT's stall certainly is. A bear needs a dash of excitment, after all, and an opportunity for everyone to admire him! And don't mind the beach babe...it's her loss that she missed a chance to share a blanket with a charmer like you...:)

Hello Jack, I have posted your picture on my blog called 'The Friendly Company of Bears', but I must apologise for calling you Frank in my post. I'm getting a bit dotty in my old age! It was lovely to meet you.

Hi Jack,

What a wonderful day you had. Glad to hear that LT's Dad was there to take care of you.

LuLu was so excited when she saw your post and there was her sister - Lilac. I think that made her a wee bit homesick for kin. But we explained that now she has 2 families.

Hugs

It was good to see you again at the weekend Jack, and I'm glad I got a chance to help you meet some other bears. There were a couple you fancied I know, but life's like that I'm afraid, you fancy another bear and they don't or they fancy you and you're not interested. You'll get the hang of it I'm sure.

But muuuum, the beach babe was cute. What snacks is Sebastian getting? I want snacks... (receding sound of little paw steps)

Yes, Lynette, exactly, I must be entertained and pandered to at every available opportunity...

Lynda, it was lovely to meet you to, anyone who recognises such a star is obviously a fabulous person

Hugs to Lulu from The Clan and me

Alan, I still haven't forgiven you for not leaving me with the beach babe, I could have worked on her some more, I'm sure!

Well Jack, next time maybe, but you never know the sort of trouble you can cause if a bigger bear wants to cut in. I don't want sand kicked in my face you know.
